WELCOME NOTES

Centre for Core Studies, Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS) is organizing Regional Conference on Civilization & Islamic Thought (ReCIT 2016) and Exploration Preachers across Continent focusing on strengthening Islamic thoughts and civilization in the region through intellectual discourses and research presentations. Both are instrumental in the empowerment and revival of the ummah today and in future. The civilization and thinking of the ummah needs to be sharpened as part of the strategies to reclaim Islam as the way of life that is based on contemporary context. The purpose of ReCIT 2016 is to provide a platform for academics and professionals in varies discipline to publish, present, discuss, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks.
